Tribal appointed for NHS South West workforce programme

Tribal Group plc ("Tribal"), a leading provider of professional services to the public sector in the UK and internationally, has been appointed preferred bidder to develop and deliver a workforce development programme for NHS South West.

The total value of the contract, for which Tribal is the prime contractor, is £21.8m over a period of five years.  The net value to Tribal, after sub-contract costs, will be £11.8m. The contract commences in April 2011 and will be jointly delivered by Tribal's Education and Health businesses.  The programme will provide education and training, supported by an e-learning platform, to NHS staff across the South West who operate in a wide range of healthcare roles.
