Contract to deliver a global student management system for the British Council

Tribal, a leading provider of technology-enabled solutions to international education, learning and training management markets, is pleased to announce a contract with Prolinx Limited, under which it will provide a student management system to support the British Council's worldwide education delivery activities.

The British Council is the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations, and operates in over 100 countries.  Through its training centres around the world, it is a leading provider of English language teaching and examinations, delivering courses to approximately 368,000 students each year.

Tribal's Sky Software student management system, which will be deployed through Prolinx's private cloud, is expected to be adopted in all British Council training centres during the initial 5 year contract term, supporting efficient student administration and consistent business processes around the globe.

Keith Evans, Chief Executive, commented "We are pleased to be working alongside Prolinx and the British Council, which is a powerful advocate of British education around the world.  Sky Software has made excellent progress since becoming part of Tribal in March 2014, and its selection in this programme illustrates the strength of its student management systems."
