Board Changes

Treatt, the manufacturer and supplier of conventional, organic and fair trade ingredients for the flavour, fragrance and cosmetic industries announces that Tim Jones will be appointed as a Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Company, with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 27^th February 2012.  Tim will succeed James Grace, whose retirement was announced on 4^th October 2011.

Tim currently holds the position of CEO and Secretary of the social finance charity Allia (formerly Citylife) and its Enterprise Agency offshoot, Future Business, having gained board experience as Managing Director of Strategic Trade & Distribution in Belgrade (1996-2002) and Fraser-Milne (1990-1996), a private company developing water treatment technology.  Tim started his career in the insurance industry, later moving into investment management and is an Associate and Fellow of a number of professional organisations.

Commenting on Tim's appointment Hugo Bovill, Managing Director of Treatt, said "I would like to welcome Tim to Treatt.  He has considerable business experience which will be a great benefit to the Company".

Treatt confirms that there is no information to be disclosed under the requirements of Listing Rule 9.6.13 in relation to this appointment.

The Board of Treatt also announces that Anita Haines, Executive Director, has informed the Board of her intention to retire from the Company in February 2014, in accordance with the two year notice period provided in her service contract.
