Travis Perkins PLC : Directorate change

Travis Perkins announces that John Coleman will retire from its board as non-executive director on 31 October 2014, having been appointed in 2005.

Robert Walker, non-executive Chairman, commented:

"John has served Travis Perkins with distinction as a non-executive director, and as the Company's Senior Independent Director. The board thanks him warmly on behalf of shareholders and wishes him well for the future.".

John Coleman's successor, who has not yet been identified, will be announced at a future date.

In advance of his retirement from the board, John will step down as Senior Independent Director with effect from 1 August 2014 and will be succeeded in that role by Andrew Simon.  Andrew has been a non-executive director of the Company since 2006 and chairs the Remuneration Committee and the Stay Safe Committee.
