                      Notification of Directors' Interest


The Board of Travis Perkins plc (the 'Company') were informed today that three
Directors of the Company were granted options today under the Travis Perkins
2001 Executive Share Option Scheme over ordinary shares of the Company at an
exercise price of 1067.5p. The exercise period is from 11 April 2006 to 10 April
2013. Details of the Directors, number of options granted and total options held
