                            Director's Shareholding

Mr Frank McKay, a Director of Travis Perkins plc, today exercised options over
79,365 ordinary shares of 10p each in the company ('shares') at an option price
of £7.56 per share, and sold 79,365 shares, at a price of £17.00.



As a result of these transactions, Mr McKay has a beneficial interest in 7,444
shares in the Company representing less then 1% of the issued share capital of
the Company.
