                      Notification of Directors' Interest


The Board of Travis Perkins plc (the 'Company') were informed yesterday that
three Directors of the Company were granted options yesterday under the Travis
Perkins 2001 Executive Share Option Scheme over ordinary shares of the Company
at an exercise price of 1071.5p. The exercise period is from 10 April 2005 to 9
April 2012. Details of the Directors, number of options granted and total
options held following the grant are set out below:
