                           Director's Shareholding


Mr E C Adams, a director of Travis Perkins plc, today sold 7,500 ordinary
shares in the Company, at a price of 668p per share. His wife, Mrs C Adams,
also today sold 7,500 ordinary shares in the Company. As a result of these
transactions, Mr Adams has a beneficial interest in 105,249 shares in the
Company representing 0.10 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.
