                           Director/PDMR Shareholding


Travis Perkins plc (the 'Company') has been notified that Jeremy Bird, a member
of the Company's Executive Committee, yesterday purchased 670 ordinary shares of
10p each in the Company at a price of 1490p per share. As a result, Mr Bird now
has a beneficial interest in 2,488 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company,
representing less than 0.01% of the issued share capital.
