The board of Travis Perkins plc (the 'Company') was today notified that Tim
Stevenson, Chairman of the Company, has today transferred his beneficial
interest in 1300 ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, which he held
through Pershing Keen Nominees, for nil consideration, to The Tim and Marion
Stevenson Charitable Trust, and has therefore disposed of his beneficial
interest in these shares.



As a result, Mr Stevenson now has a beneficial interest in 7200 ordinary shares
of 10p each in the Company, representing less than 0.1% of the issued share
capital of the Company.
