Translogik order from EDP for Michelin Euromaster

Transense Technologies plc ("Transense") (AIM: TRT), the provider of sensor systems for the transportation and industrial markets, is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Translogik, has received an order for its commercial truck tyre inspection kits from its  value-added-reseller and development partner, EDP.  These kits will be deployed by EDP as part of its "Fleet Check" mobile tyre inspection system for Michelin Euromaster. It is anticipated that further orders will follow as the system is rolled out across Europe.

EDP (Electronic Data Process) is a French company based in Champfeuillet, with a regional office in Thailand. EDP specialises in software systems for commercial tyre management.

Jean-Luc Giusti, CEO of EDP commented: "EDP has been working with Euromaster for some time to develop a mobile fleet maintenance system capable of providing accurate, real-time data, across its service network in Europe. The EDP Fleet Check system is currently installed in 18 countries, and installations in six further countries are expected during 2012. EDP has a very strong relationship with Translogik and the professional truck tyre inspection kit is, in our opinion, the only product that offers the level of performance and accuracy in a device sufficiently rugged and easy to use, which would meet Euromaster's tough operational requirements. We have ambitious plans for this project and look forward to working in partnership with Translogik in delivering a world-class solution."

Graham Storey, CEO of Transense commented: "We are delighted that EDP has chosen the Translogik tyre inspection tools for the Michelin Euromaster programme.  EDP has a strong presence within the European truck fleet market, and having our tools adopted by Europe's largest commercial tyre inspection provider is a tremendous endorsement as we look to develop the Translogik brand within the EU in line with our corporate strategy."
