The total number of voting rights in issue in respect of each class of shares of
Transense as at the date of this notice is as follows:



Ordinary shares of 10p: 56,868,166

Treasury shares: 0

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 56,868,166.



The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or change to their interest in, Transense under the Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.
