Statement re press comment



The Board of Transense Technologies plc ('the Company') notes the article in
today's Independent newspaper regarding a potential announcement by Michelin
later this week.  The Board confirms that it believes that Michelin will
announce the inclusion of the Company's battery-less tyre pressure monitoring
sensors in Michelin's next generation of truck tyres.  However, the Board has no
control over the timing or content of any announcements by third parties.  A
further announcement will be made in due course if and when appropriate.
