Re Agreement

Transense Technologies plc (the 'Company' or 'Transense') 25th May 2010 Re RFID Chile Field Trial Expansion Transense is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Translogik Limited ('Translogik'), has agreed to expand the field trial for its Off-the-Road (OTR) Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to an additional four systems, at the request of its South American distributor, RFID Chile. This is further to the RFID Chile distribution agreement announced on 30th April. The initial field trial at a Chilean copper mine operated by the State mining company, Codelco, continues as planned, however, the OTR TPMS system will now be evaluated at additional locations run by a multinational mining company. The Translogik OTR TPMS system incorporates a Dynamic Vehicle Information (DVI) system that allows critical vehicle information on tyre temperature and pressure to be displayed directly to the driver via an 'in-cab' display, whilst simultaneously logging and uploading live data such as braking, fuel consumption and location to a central location via GPRS and GPS. Graham Storey, CEO of Transense, commented 'Our engineers recently returned from Chile, having spent a week working with RFID Chile and Codelco, setting up our OTR TPMS systems on their Komatsu 830E dumper trucks. Initial feedback has been extremely positive and further presentations at other mines have resulted in a request for this additional paid trial, which will commence in one month's time when our engineers will return to the region. We are very pleased and encouraged with the rapid progress we are making". Max von Dessauer, CEO of RFID Chile, said "There is a pressing need within the mining community in Chile and beyond, for exactly the product offered by Translogik. Data capture and real-time solutions are a vital tool in the management of mining assets. Minimising downtime is the all important goal in this arena, and the ability of the Translogik DVI system to provide live data monitoring no matter what the vehicle's location, make it an invaluable tool towards that goal, with considerable value to the mining industry".
