Patent Agreement

Transense Technologies PLC 08 August 2007 Transense Technologies plc ('Transense') Patent Administration Agreement with Schott AG Transense and Schott AG ('Schott'), of Mainz, Germany, have signed a Patent Administration Agreement concerning jointly developed intellectual property for the packaging of Transense's patented Surface Acoustic Wave ('SAW') torque sensors. Under the terms of the agreement, Schott has exclusive rights to manufacture the packages that are the subject of the invention and Transense will receive a royalty on every package sold. The filed patent should lead to improvements in the performance of torque sensors, and also to facilitate the volume production of the packaged sensors. Schott are already approved suppliers to another of Transense's licensees, Honeywell, and Honeywell has made public its intention to start volume production of SAW torque sensors in 2008.
