Transense Technologies plc ('Transense') announces that on 3 December 2004 it
issued and allotted 100,000 new ordinary shares of 10 pence each ('New Ordinary
Shares') to a former employee pursuant to the exercise of share options.  The
New Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu in all respects with all other existing
issued Transense ordinary shares.


Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the shares to be
admitted for trading.
