Transense Technologies plc ('the Company') was notified on 9 January 2007 that
Bluehone Investors LLP is interested in, through client holdings, 6,622,880
ordinary shares representing 11.73% of the Company's issued share capital of
56,458,974 ordinary shares.



Such interest includes the holding by Active Capital Trust plc of 4,729,468
ordinary shares which represents 8.38% of the issued share capital of the
Company.
