Transense Technologies appoints Chief Scientist


Dr. Victor Kalinin one of the world's leading experts in Surface Acoustic Wave
(SAW) technology will be joining Transense Technologies full time as Chief
Scientist from the 1st January 2001.  He has been a member of Transense's
Development Advisory Panel.

Dr. Victor Kalinin, aged 44, is currently Senior Lecturer in Communications
and RF Circuit Design at Oxford Brookes University's School of Engineering.
His qualifications include the equivalent of a MSc in Radio Physics and
Electronics and a PhD in Radio Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering
Institute.

As Chief Scientist, Dr. Kalinin will report directly to Jim Perry, CEO of
Transense Technologies and his role will include the design and development of
the company's technology.
