REDENOMINATION OF SHARE CAPITAL
Application has been made for the redenominaton of the entire share capital of
TOTAL FINA S.A. from a nominal value of 50 French francs per share to a nominal
value of 10 curos per share to be effected on the London Stock Exchange.
