                           Transaction in Own Shares



Further to the recent acquisition of Anker plc ('the Acquisition'), the Company
announces that yesterday it sold 57 ordinary shares of 1 p each ('Ordinary
Shares) in the Company at a price of 109p per Ordinary Share. The sale relates
to the fractional entitlements generated by the Acquisition which, pursuant to
the terms of the Acquisition, were to be aggregated and sold in the market with
the proceeds retained for the benefit of the Company.
