Torex Retail PLC 08 February 2005 8 February 2005 Torex Retail Appoints New CEO Torex Retail plc, the UK market leader in retail systems, is pleased to announce a significant strengthening of the executive management team. Chris Moore has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer with full responsibility for all executive matters. Mark Pearman will remain a key member of the Executive Board assuming full responsibility for business development. The Company's ambitious growth plans will be spearheaded by Mark on a global basis through a combination of organic and acquisitive means. He led the team at Torex PLC from March 1996 to April 2004, where he built up the business into a European market leader in healthcare information systems and an established force within Retail IT. During his time at Torex, the Group grew dramatically both organically and by acquisition, with the market capitalisation growing from £10m to £350m.
