                                 Board Changes



Torex Retail plc, a leading global retail systems provider, today provides a
further update as to its board composition.



The Company announces that Mr Michael Grant has been appointed to the main Board
with immediate effect as Non-executive Director.  Mr Grant has significant
experience as a turnaround director and has worked on some of the largest and
most complex restructuring projects of recent times, including holding senior
positions in Eurotunnel, Railtrack, HM Government and Cable & Wireless. He is
currently Managing Director of Aaronite Partners, the business turnaround
specialist.  Mr Iain Lynam, also of Aaronite Partners, steps down from the Board
with effect from today.



The Company also announces that Mr Michael Carrell has today resigned as
Director of the Company with immediate effect.



The Company will make an announcement about the appointment of one further
Non-executive Director in due course.
