David Hallett has extensive experience in building and managing world-class IT systems for large retail companies. David is currently Client Services Director at Sun Microsystems Inc. Sun Microsystems introduced JAVA, the world leading platform and operating system independent development language. He was previously Group IT Director at Littlewoods Retail Group, where he was responsible for the entire group's IT function. Among his achievements at Littlewoods was the successful development and implementation of a new, business focused IT strategy, which improved the overall stability and reliability of the company's core IT services. Prior to this, David was Group IT Director at both Argos plc, from 1996-1998, and Dixons Stores Group Ltd where he was responsible for overall IT management from 1992-1996.
