                           Transaction in Own Shares

Tiger Resource Finance p.l.c. ('Tiger' or the 'Company') announces that on 9
October 2006, the Company purchased 750,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ('
Ordinary Shares') at a price of 3.6 pence per Ordinary Share.  These Ordinary
Shares are to be held as treasury stock.

Following this purchase, Tiger holds 2,250,000 Ordinary Shares in treasury and
the total issued share capital of the Company less treasury shares is
198,631,939 Ordinary Shares.
