                           Transaction in Own Shares

Tiger Resource Finance p.l.c. ('Tiger' or the 'Company') announces that on 14
October 2005, it purchased 250,000 ordinary shares at 3.25 pence per ordinary
share. These shares are to be held as treasury stock.

Following this purchase, Tiger now holds 22,650,000 ordinary shares in treasury.
