Asia Pacific Region Contract Awards

The Board of Digital Barriers plc (AIM: DGB), the specialist provider of advanced surveillance technologies to the international homeland security and defence markets, is pleased to announce the award of two contracts in the Asia Pacific region.

Both contracts are with rail transportation operators and will see Digital Barriers provide those operators with technology for onboard video surveillance.

The first contract, in South East Asia, is expected to deliver revenue in excess of £800,000 and will be fulfilled over the course of the next 30 months.  The second contract, in Australia, is expected to deliver revenue in excess of £120,000 and will be fulfilled over the course of the next two months.

Colin Evans, Group Managing Director of Digital Barriers commented:

"I am delighted to announce these two latest contract wins, which will see us supply some of our most advanced surveillance technology to international customers.  The Asia Pacific region continues to represent a fast-growing target market for us, with significant local investment still being made in rail and other transportation networks.  We are encouraged by the relationships we continue to develop across this region and view these contract wins as further evidence of the strength of our products and growth of our brand internationally."
