Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and The London Stock Exchange for a blocklisting of 230,000 
Ordinary Shares of 10p each fully paid to commence trading on 24 September 2003.

These shares rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary share capital of the Company and will be issued in 
connection with future allotments of shares under the FW Thorpe plc 1998 Executive Share Option Schemes.
