SAMPLING RESULTS - DUNDAS (WA) & DAICOS (NT)

Dated: 21 February 2011

The Directors of Thor Mining PLC ("Thor" or the "Company") (AIM, ASX: THR) the exploration company focussed on gold and base metal projects and advancing tungsten-molybdenum projects in the Northern Territory of Australia, advise that assays from further reconnaissance surface sampling at the Dundas gold project in Western Australia have identified additional anomalies for follow up and potentially drill testing.

The third (northernmost) panel of infill calcrete sampling (EL 1102) showed less continuous anomalous responses than the two panels in EL 872.

The next phase of activities at Dundas will include calcrete sampling on the south western licence EL 63/1101, follow up sampling of anomalies identified from this most recent program on EL 63/1102, and RAB drilling (now scheduled for the week commencing 28th February) to test the previously identified southern anomaly on EL/63 872.

About the Dundas Project

The Thor Dundas Project is situated in Western Australia within the Albany-Fraser Province.  The project tenements lie on the general strike-extension of the most prolific gold-bearing belt of the Yilgarn Province - the 700km Wiluna-Kalgoorlie-Norseman greenstone belt (Figure 3), in an area where the trend of the Albany-Fraser belt is displaced south eastwards by about 50km (Figure 3).  The Albany-Fraser belt hosts a number of recent gold discoveries including the +5 million ounce Tropicana gold deposit, and other discoveries including Beachcomber, Socrates, Corvette, and Corona.

Daicos Prospect (NT)

Assays from a small rock sampling program at the Daicos prospect near Harts Range in the Northern Territory confirmed the existence of anomalous values but revealed no economically significant mineralisation.
