Repurchase of Shares


The Company has today implemented the buy back of shares for cancellation
referred to in the announcements of 1 July 2003 and 11 August 2003.  710,245
Ordinary Shares of 2p each nominal value have therefore been repurchased today
at a price of 17.25p per share.

Following this buy back, the Company now has in issue 153,975,407 Ordinary
Shares of 2p each nominal value.
