CapitalTech Plc ('the Company')

The Board of CapitalTech plc announce that on 7 March 2001 the Company has
purchased for cancellation 194,594 Ordinary Shares of 2p each at a price of
185p.  The shares have been purchased from Raven Close Nominees Limited
pursuant to an agreement dated 29 October 2000, which was authorised by
members' resolution passed on 25 May 2000.  Following this purchase there are
now 57,714,077 ordinary shares of 2p in issue.
