Purchase of Own Securities

                       CapitalTech plc ('the Company')


The Board of the Company announces that on 23 April 2001 the Company has
purchased for cancellation (a) 135,263 Ordinary Shares of 2p each at a price
of 20.5p each and (b) 145,000 Ordinary Shares of 2p each at a price of 21p
each, all pursuant to members' resolutions passed on 20 April 2001.  Following
this purchase there are now 57,433,814 Ordinary Shares of 2p in issue.
