TERRACE HILL TARGETS OPPORTUNITIES IN THE NORTH WEST WITH MANCHESTER OFFICE OPENING AND APPOINTMENT OF ANDY LAVIN

New office takes Terrace Hill's national network to five offices

Terrace Hill Group plc (AIM: THG), a leading UK property development and investment group, announces that it has opened a new regional office in Manchester. This extends the Group's national network of offices to five and further increases its ability to source off market deals in regional markets.  The Group's other regional offices are in Bristol, Glasgow, Teesside and London, which also serves as the Company's head office.

Terrace Hill has appointed Andy Lavin to head up the new Manchester office.  Andy will have responsibility for sourcing development and investment opportunities in the region, with a particular focus on Terrace Hill's core specialisations of out of town retail and office development.

Andy Lavin has 25 years experience in the Manchester real estate market and joins from Maple Grove Developments (part of Preston-based Eric Wright Group), where he was Development Director.  He joined Maple Grove in March 1995 and was made a director in March 1999, with responsibility for numerous commercial development schemes.

Prior to Maple Grove, Andy Lavin was an Associate Partner at Grimley JR Eve, where he was an office agent focused on in and out of town offices.  Previously he worked for Bernard Thorpe and Partners as a graduate surveyor. 

Andy Lavin is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the British Council of Offices and is a board member on the Private-Public Sector Board in Leyland, which is exploring ways to regenerate the town and area.  He has a degree in General Practice Surveying at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic (1982-1985).
