Capitaltech PLC 17 April 2002 CapitalTech PLC ('CapitalTech') Disposal CapitalTech announces that on 17 April 2002 its subsidiary Belgrave Residential Assets Limited ('BRAL') contracted to sell a block of 32 residential flats, let on short assured tenancies, at 482-6 Great Western Road, Glasgow and 2 Belmont Street, Glasgow for a cash price of £3,250,000 with completion due on 26 April 2002. The carrying value of the property was £2,937,000, being the valuation on acquisition of BRAL on 26 November 2001. An increase in capital value had led to a consequent decline in yield and thus it was not expected that there would be revenue profitability of the flats after management and financing costs. The proceeds are being applied to reduce gearing and will assist the profitability of CapitalTech.
