                        CapitalTech plc ('the Group')

On 1 October 2001 two directors, Mr S D H Cufley and Miss M A Kelly, exercised
options to acquire from the Group's Employee Share Ownership Trust, at a price
of 2p per share, respectively 40,000 and 30,000 Ordinary Shares of 2p each of
the Group.  Mr Cufley and Miss Kelly now hold respectively 53,711 and 34,500
Shares representing 0.09% and 0.06% of the entire issued share capital
respectively.
