TheWorks.co.uk plc, the multi-channel value retailer of arts, crafts, toys, books and stationery, today announces that on 13 October 2023, the Company granted options over ordinary shares of 1 pence each ("Shares") in the Company at an exercise price of 28 pence ("Options") under TheWorks.co.uk Save As You Earn Plan ("SAYE") to Gavin Peck (Chief Executive Officer) and Rosie Fordham (Chief Financial Officer Designate) as outlined below.

All eligible employees were invited to apply for Options under the SAYE, a tax advantaged all employee share plan, which become exercisable following the end of a three-year savings contract. The exercise price of the Options was set at a discount of c.20% from the average of the closing middle market Share price over the three dealing days prior to the invitation date of 25 September 2023.
