                         Directors' Purchase of Shares

The Evolution Group plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification
today that Mr Richard Griffiths, Chairman, bought on Friday 4 April 2003 235,000
ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 34 pence per share. This brings his
total holding to 5,835,000 ordinary shares in the Company representing
approximately 2.57% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The Company also announces that it received notification today that Mr Graeme
Dell, Finance Director, bought on Friday 4 April 2003 35,000 ordinary shares in
the Company at a price of 34 pence per share. This brings his total holding to
47,820 ordinary shares in the Company representing approximately 0.02% of the
issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
