                         Directors' Purchase of Shares

The Evolution Group plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification
on 17 September 2002 that Mr Alex Snow, Chief Executive Officer, purchased on
that day 60,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 34 pence per share.
This brings his total holding to 429,102 ordinary shares in the Company
representing 0.19% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company .

The Company also announces that it received notification on 17 September 2002
that Mr Richard Griffiths, Director, purchased on that day 230,000 ordinary
shares in the Company at a price of 34 pence per share. This brings his total
holding to 5,428,675 ordinary shares in the Company representing 2.41% of the
issued ordinary share capital of the Company.

The Company also announces that it received notification on 17 September 2002
that Mr David Norwood, Director, purchased on that day 100,000 ordinary shares
in the Company at a price of 34 pence per share. This brings his total holding
to 3,803,194 ordinary shares in the Company representing 1.68% of the issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.
