Conversion of C Shares

The Board of The Renewables Infrastructure Group Limited is pleased to announce that, following admission of the C Shares to the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange on 2 April 2014, the C Share monies have now been substantially invested.  In accordance with the terms of the C Shares, the Directors have determined that the Calculation Time for the conversion of C Shares into Ordinary Shares is today, 23 June 2014, and as a result the conversion will be made on the basis of the respective net asset values of the C Shares and Ordinary Shares as at close of business today.

The C Share proceeds have now been 87% invested. The Company has a strong pipeline of further investment opportunities.

Expected timetable

-     Conversion Ratio announced:   Thursday, 26 June 2014

-     Record date for Conversion and C Share register closes:   Monday, 30 June 2014

-     Dealings in new Ordinary Shares commence:   Tuesday, 1 July 2014

-     Crediting of CREST accounts with new Ordinary Shares:   Tuesday, 1 July 2014

-     Share certificates in respect of new Ordinary Shares sent:   Week commencing 30 June 2014
