THISTLE MINING INC.   ('The Company')

ADMISSION OF SHARES

Warrants to subscribe for 810,072 new Common Shares in Thistle Mining Inc. were
exercised as follows:

•    809,572 warrants were exercised on 17 March 2003
     at an exercise price of  Cdn $0.70 cents per share

•    500 warrants were exercised on 28 February 2003
     at an exercise price of Cdn $1.50  cents per share

An application for the new Common Shares to be admitted to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market has been made with the London Stock Exchange.
Dealings in these shares are expected to commence on Tuesday 25 March 2003.

The shares will rank pari passu with existing shares in issue.
