Voting Rights and Capital


In conformity with the Transparency Directive's Transitional Provision 6,
Artisan (UK) plc would like to notify the market of the following:


Artisan's issued share capital comprises 328,530,000 shares of  0.5 p each. The
Company does not have any Treasury Shares or any other non voting shares.


The total number of voting rights in 328,530,000 shares is therefore
328,530,000.


The above figures may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Artisan (UK) plc under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
