    Samsung Tesco Homeplus to acquire twelve Aram Mart stores in South Korea

Samsung Tesco Homeplus today announced it will acquire twelve stores from Aram
Mart Ltd. which operates in and around Pusan, South West Korea. The terms of
this asset deal mean that Samsung Tesco will acquire three compact hypermarkets
and nine supermarkets and will employ those store staff who wish to remain with
the company.
