Zinc/Silver Drilling Programme Started in Sweden

Tertiary Minerals PLC 6 April 2000 TERTIARY MINERALS PLC TERTIARY STARTS DRILLING PROGRAMME IN SWEDEN TO TEST FOR EXTENSIONS OF ZINC/SILVER DEPOSIT Twelve Diamond Drill Holes Planned Results Should Be Known During May AIM-listed Tertiary Minerals plc announces that a diamond drilling programme is now underway at its Windfall zinc/silver project 50km NE of the Garpenberg base metal mine in south- central Sweden. The main objectives of the current programme, consisting of about 12 holes, are to extend the areas of known high-grade mineralisation at the Vindfall and Sortarnan prospects which lie along strike from each other, 1.5km apart. Executive Chairman Mr. Patrick Cheetham said today: 'We will be drilling a number of geophysical (IP) anomalies along strike from, and semi-parallel to the main zinc zones as well as for immediate extensions of known mineralisation to the NNE of each prospect.' Drilling will continue throughout April with results expected to be known next month.
