The Company was advised today that City Equities bought 6,000,000 ordinary
shares of the Company in the recent placing, acquiring approximately 12.93 per
cent of the Company's issued share capital on 4 February 2005. The Company was
also advised today that City Equities had sold all of these shares to certain of
its private customers and so no longer has an interest in the share capital of
Tertiary Minerals plc.
