Tertiary Minerals was informed on 2 March 2004 that on 1 March 2004, as part of
the recent placing undertaken by the Company, City Equities Limited acquired
2,000,000 ordinary shares in Tertiary Minerals. These shares represented 4.95 %
of the enlarged issued share capital of the Company. The shares have since been
disposed of so that City Equities Limited no longer holds a notifiable interest
in Tertiary Minerals.
