Tertiary Minerals was advised on 22 November 2002 that RAB Capital Ltd ('RAB
Capital'), acting as investment manager for a number of funds, disposed of
100,000 ordinary shares of the Company on 23 October 2002.

RAB Capital's notifiable interest in the issued share capital of Tertiary
Minerals is now 3.03 million ordinary shares, representing 10.74 per cent. of
the issued share capital of the Company.

RAB Capital's interest in the issued share capital of the Company is held in the
nominee account of Morstan Nominees Ltd.
