                               Grant of warrants


Tertiary Minerals announces today that it has granted 1,600,000 warrants on 31
October 2007 at an exercise price of 8.75p to employees and directors of the
Company. The grants included the following directors:

David Whitehead (Non-executive Director)                               100,000
Donald McAlister (Non-executive Director)                              100,000

The warrants are not exercisable until the first anniversary of the date of
grant and may not in any event be exercised later than the sixth anniversary of
the date of grant.
