The Board of Teather & Greenwood Holdings plc (the 'Company') has noted the
recent movement in the Company's share price and confirms that it is currently
in discussions with a third party which may or may not lead to an offer for the
Company.  These discussions are at a preliminary stage and there is no certainty
that an offer for the Company will be made.
