The Board of Teather & Greenwood has noted the speculation in the press
regarding the proposed sale of its asset management business, Teather &
Greenwood Investment Management, and  the  movement in the Company's share
price.


Following a significant number of approaches, the Company is currently in
exclusive negotiations.  A further announcement will be made in due course.
