The Company received a notice, dated 15 February 2005, from The Goldman Sachs
Group Inc ('GS Inc'), that at the close of business on 11 February 2005, GS Inc
was interested in 2,840,744 Ordinary Shares of 10 pence in the capital of the
Company (being approximately 4.9 per cent. of the Company's issued share
capital).  Such interest arises by virtue of a beneficial interest in such
shares held by Goldman Sachs International, a wholly owned subsidiary of GS Inc.
