The Directors have reviewed trading during the second half of the year and can
confirm the very positive trend noted at the interim stage. Consequently it is
expected that results for the year ended 31st December 2001 will significantly
exceed current market expectations.

The detailed announcement of Preliminary Results will be made on Friday, 8th
March 2002.
